Digital Transformation

The covid-19 pandemic is undoubtedly one of the most difficult and unexpected situations that humanity has had to face. The pace of many companies has been slowed down and with-it industrialization and its consequent pollution.

Most companies had to apply the telework system and send their workers home. Establishing home offices, educational centers applying the e-learning system, this last one was a challenge for both teachers and students. With this, we have gradually realized the importance of keeping up with digital innovation and continue to bet on all these tools once this situation is over.

If there is one positive thing we can take away from this situation, it is the change in mentality that has taken place and the creation of total trust between the employer and his worker. Generally, teleworking is not very popular yet and there is a tendency to have prejudices about its practice. What we must understand is that it is not a vacation or rest day, in fact the worker has a lot of responsibility. Perhaps the biggest challenge for companies is to have the necessary means to implement teleworking in an immediate way; the necessary technological infrastructure, adequate servers that allow to hold the connections ...

At this moment we place more value on technology that goes from being a luxury to a basic need. Companies are forced to move forward and take that definitive step towards that digital transformation that sooner or later had to be applied.

It is fundamental to implement the necessary tools as we have already mentioned, as well as cultural policies, and to understand that technology should not be a tool that does not lower productivity, but quite the opposite.
